Dr. Jenny Reeder

Dr. Jenny Reeder is a renowned expert in nineteenth-century women’s history associated with the LDS Church History Department. She holds a Ph.D. in American history from George Mason University, with a specialization in women’s history. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree from New York University in history, archival management, and documentary editing. Dr. Reeder has engaged in collaborative work with various institutions, including the Roy Rozenzweig Center for History and New Media at GMU, the Center for American Jewish History, the Gilder Lehrman Collection at the New-York Historical Society, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the New York Universalist-Unitarian church, and the Joseph Fielding Smith Institute for LDS History. She has also served on the executive committee of the Mormon Women’s History Initiative Team.
